The Syrian artist “Sara Shamma” will participate in the forth edition of the International Art Fair “Contemporary Istanbul 2009” which will take place from the 3rd to the 6th of December 2009 at Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Center (ICEC). The participation will be with 7 large paintings (oil on canvas) painted recently.

The Contemporary Istanbul is the most extensive "modern and contemporary art" event in Turkey, it hosts Turkish and international galleries, artists from all over the world, collectors, museum directors, curators, art critics, members of press and art lovers.

Sara Shamma’s participation with other Syrian artists will be in stands organized by the Turkish gallery “Art 8” and the Syrian company “Sinanco” in a joint venture named “New Horizons”.

It is worth to say that it is the first time Syrian artists participate in Contemporary Istanbul.
